Como todos los Gallitos, esta variedas se riega para llenar espacios abiertos; en tierras altas no son problematicos, pero en tierras bajas debe escoger el sitio con cuidado. Crece bien en sol o semi-sombra. Hasta 1.5m de alto. Gracias a Excelsa Gardens por el uso de esta foto de su vivero.
 
Like all H. psittacorums, this variety spreads to fill available space; in highlands they're not a problem, but in the lowlands it's best to choose the planting location carefully. Grows well in sun or semi-shade. Up to 1.5m tall. Thanks to Excelsa Gardens for the use of this greenhouse photo.
